Hello, I’m the person behind the scenes! My name is Jessica May Sanders, and I’m an artist from Cheshire, UK. I’ve been running my business, JessieMayArt, for the past five years, and I’m so excited to have created this space to share more of my artwork and creative journey with you.
A few fun facts about me:
Through my art, I hope to capture the warmth, texture, and small moments of life that make us pause and appreciate the world around us.
I’ve always been creative, with art playing a big part in my life from an early age. Through school, college, and later completing both my Degree and Masters, I’ve continued to explore different mediums and develop my own artistic voice. Art has always been more than just a passion for me — it’s a way to express myself, reflect on life’s changes, and find calm and clarity through creativity.
I create my own unique artwork and bespoke wall murals, each piece inspired by colour, texture, and the world around me. In addition to my personal collections, I also take on commissions, working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life in a way that feels personal and meaningful.
No two projects are ever the same — and that’s what I love most about what I do. Whether it’s a statement mural for a home or business, or a one-of-a-kind artwork to mark a special moment, I’m always excited to try something new and explore creative possibilities. My goal is to create pieces that spark joy, start conversations, and make spaces feel truly special.

I use a mix of acrylics, emulsions, watercolours, and other suggested materials, finishing each piece with a protective varnish to ensure lasting quality. Every commission is a personal, one-of-a-kind artwork designed to reflect your style and bring character to your space.

In the rare case that a client is not satisfied with the completed piece and the issue cannot be resolved through minor adjustments, the final payment will not be required, but the client will not receive the artwork. In this instance, the piece will also be made available for sale.
My goal is always to ensure that every commissioned artwork feels personal, professional, and created with care — from start to finish.
Each commissioned artwork is created with care and attention to detail, so completion times can vary depending on the size, complexity, and materials involved. An estimated target date for completion will be discussed and agreed upon before the project begins, ensuring transparency and realistic expectations from the start.
